After a period of near hibernation, Rainbow Allotment is springing back to life.
Today, we staked the broad beans, watered the seeds in the
polytunnel and fed the fruit canes.
The daffodils should be out by next week, if the weather
forecasters are to be believed.
The communal chicken coop has arrived at the site and a run
has been constructed which has had to be safeguarded against foxes and birds of
prey.
Wow, that's a snazzy chicken coop!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting, getting chickens on the site. I'd love chickens but I don't want the responsibility of them at the moment so a communal coop would be a good alternative. I don't think we're allowed livestock on our site though.
