Autumn Planting

We’ve been really busy at Rainbow Allotment lately with some welcome help from the Mitzvah and Marrow team.

After harvesting the rest of the bumper crop of runner beans, we have planted out cabbage and purple sprouting broccoli.

Ros planted up a couple of containers with polyanthus and winter pansies.

Rainbow Allotment

Okies, so I have been asked to start up a blog for the Rainbow Allotment Project which is part of the LJWB. Last year we were given a large allotment plot and planted with help from Neshama, some tomatoes, broccoli, cucumbers and other various vegetables and fruit. We have amazing residents, staff and volunteers who enjoy visiting the allotment and enjoy planting, sowing and not forgetting WEEDING !!!!!
I will be uploading some pictures very soon so you will be able to see how we are getting on and planting the winter vegetables.
